ORDER AND FIT GUIDE

A custom bicycle should fit perfectly and make you feel great when you are riding.  A great fitting bike will also “look right” because there is no reason to sacrifice the well-balanced and proportioned designs that provide comfort, speed, and excellent road manners.  I don’t use fixed formulas nor am I focused on certain principles that determine every rider’s fit.  There are three elements to establishing a great fit.  First, I will ask for certain body proportions and collect some “numbers” that will be part of our larger conversation.  Second, we’ll look closely at your cycling experiences and consider other bikes you might have enjoyed (or not!)  Third, and most important, we’ll discuss your needs and preferences at length over the phone or in person, if you are in Minneapolis or plan to visit, and reach a clear understanding about the sorts of riding you’d like to do on a Goodrich.  I’m committed to your complete satisfaction and I believe you are coming to a builder like me for my experience, skills, and values.  Trust and a solid relationship are the cornerstones of a custom bike buying experience.

I consider myself a good listener and will ask my customers detailed questions about their riding and preferences.  I firmly believe that it is possible to reach a perfect custom fit without meeting in person.  Grant Petersen, Richard Sachs, and others have shown this to be true time and again.  More important than any formula or sizing machine is the experience of the designer and builder.   Every Goodrich is a bicycle made for its rider and rooted in years of craft and design experience.  Give me a call, let’s talk about what you might like and want.  Perhaps we’ll begin a relationship that will continue every time you go for a ride on your Goodrich.
