Whether your fancy is a track bike, a cyclocrosser, or a special
bike, a Goodrich brings you a world of options in a full custom
design. A track bike can be made dedicated to its pure purpose
or built as a single-speed/fixed gear with track ends, proper
drillings for brakes, perhaps braze-ons for fenders or a custom
rack, and road style geometries. Of course, the pure track bike
should have geometries and design features that suit its
purpose, just as road fixie or singler should ride right with
all the simple joy that one gear can provide.
Cyclocross bikes can also be
designed either in the purist sense (usually without bottle
cages, top tube cable routing, and other features that emphasize
the racer’s needs) or as a multi-purpose rider for off-road or
hard city avenues. A Goodrich design insures that the bike
handles properly, well-suited to the task. Think about using
cantilever brakes with plenty of clearance for wide tires and a
overall design that accounts for the important changes that make
a ‘cross bike special.
